Talents

This page is for a detailed description on what talents are and how they work. For talent selection queries it is best to read the advanced strategy guide for each relevant format or the Talent selection page in the advanced strategy section. Talents are passive abilities for heroes. Heroes are born with a talent and talents can not be increased however you can roll additional talents with the Talent Refresh Card or by rolling with 300 GemsGem.png. Each Talent has 5 levels with 1 being the weakest and 5 the strongest. Naturally certain talents synergize with certain heroes and/or game modes so on each hero page we have listed the best talents for them. In the strategy guides for each game mode we explain the best heroes and their respective talents both for Free to play(FTP) and pay to play(P2P) players. Every hero can have every Talent and some are rarer to roll than others. Also Rolling talents of higher magnitude seems to be a considerably lower probability but IGG have not released information confirming this, never the less many players have confirmed statistics showing this to be the case. Talents bonuses are not shown in the hero screen. Meaning on a hero with War God you will still be viewing base damage and can expect the applicable bonus to be added in combat. Each talent also increases might by 20 per level.

  • Survivability talents are talents that make it harder to kill the hero: Stone Skin, Scorch, Tenacity, Revive, Life Drain.
  • Reflective Talents are Talents that aim to exploit your opponents high damage deal capabilities: Blade Shell, Flame Guard.

Talents can be seen by going into your heroes altar and selecting a hero. The talent is listed under the skill. See the below pic of Pumpkin Duke: Celebrate is his skill and Berserk 3/5 is his Talent:

Talent If you click on change, the following page comes up: Talent 2 Self Destruct 1/5 is my last rolled talent:

  • I can re-roll for a new talent by hitting the re-roll button, it will cost 300 GemsGem.png because I do not have a talent refresh card. If I do this the Self Destruct is gone forever so make sure you use talents of modest value before re-rolling them away.
  • I can also click the replace button, this would delete my 3/5 Zerk and replace it with 1/5 Self Destruct… I wont be doing this.
  • Click the X in the top right corner to exit without doing anything.

1/8 Has a 10% chance to inflict Coma for 1.0 secs on target when attacking.
2/8 Has a 10% chance to inflict Coma for 1.5 secs on target when attacking.
3/8 Has a 10% chance to inflict Coma for 2.0 secs on target when attacking.
4/8 Has a 10% chance to inflict Coma for 2.5 secs on target when attacking.
5/8 Has a 10% chance to inflict Coma for 3.0 secs on target when attacking.
6/8 Has a 15% chance to inflict Coma for 3.0 secs on target when attacking.

Extra Info Deals double damage for the attack if it procs. Only procs off normal attacks.

Revitalize
1/5 Gain 20% Energy at the start of battle.

Extra info:  On Warlock and Harpy, they will proc at the start of battle. Other heroes must attack still.

Scorch
1/8 Has a 5% chance to negate all damage when attacked.
2/8 Has a 6% chance to negate all damage when attacked.
3/8 Has a 7% chance to negate all damage when attacked.
4/8 Has a 8% chance to negate all damage when attacked.
5/8 Has a 9% chance to negate all damage when attacked.
6/8 Has a 15% chance to negate all damage when attacked.
7/8 Has a 35% chance to negate all damage when attacked.

Self Destruct
1/8 Deals 100% damage to nearby enemies upon death.

Extra Info Is benefited from other attack buffs. At 3/8 deadly Strike deals 600% damage (100% from attack and 500% from 5 times more). If there is a 50% damage boost from something else it will deal 900% instead (50% of 600 is 300, therefore 150% of 600 is 900).

Flame Guard
